Compassion In Action

From day one of Crossroads Compassion Project, our Board of Directors have had the desire and felt the responsibility to help, not only those in need in Eastern Europe, but to also invest in domestic opportunities to help those less fortunate in our own communities. Through God’s sovereignty and timing, He has brought together a team of volunteers, supporters and advocates to help us do just that.

Crossroads Compassion Project is pleased to announce the new branch of our ministry called Compassion in Action. This new domestic portion of our ministry will take place in various locations within the borders of the United States. Each project will have its own unique name, specific to the needs we will be trying to meet.

Our very first project take place on August 8th 2015 and it will be called Appalachian Outreach. This project is a partnership between CCP, Let Our Voices Echo (L.O.V.E.), K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, and SMD Contracting. We will be working with a group of volunteers in the Town of Welch, WV to meet some of the most basic physical needs of about 600 kids in the McDowell County, WV School System. Together we will be helping each child with a new winter coat, new shoes and socks, a backpack, school supplies, and toiletry and hygiene items. It is also our intention to raise awareness about the dangers of human trafficking in West Virginia and the U.S.

We are excited to be given this opportunity to show the love of Jesus Christ with the students and families in and around the town of Welch. This will be the first of many such projects around the U.S. as God provides the opportunities and the resources. We are now looking for warehouse/office space to support our growing ministry. We are asking God for a facility where we can collect, organize and inventory the material resources that have been donated and purchased for this and other projects in the US and Moldova.

Please pray for Appalachian Outreach and the students in Welch, WV. If you would like to support this or any other part of our ministry financially, you can do so online at or send a check to P.O. Box 483 Claremont, NC 28610.
